FIAT 500L Trekking - Front-wheel drive five-seater microvan. First, the Trekking crossover modification was presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2012, and only then was brought to the Geneva Motor Show in March 2013. The car is sold on both sides of the ocean.

External features of the FIAT 500L Trekking are extended arches, an off-road plastic body kit and a slightly (by 14 mm) increased ground clearance. A more aggressive "shell" made Trekking bigger than the regular one 500L 123 mm long (4270 mm) and 16 mm wide (1800 mm).

Nevertheless, the main "chip" that justifies the crossover ambitions of the "five hundredth" is the system Traction+. In fact, it is an advanced traction control, which is configured for driving on slippery and rough surfaces and is activated at speeds up to 30 km / h with a separate button near the gearshift lever.

In addition, the “plus sign” next to the Traction name also means the ability to simulate a differential lock: as soon as the electronics detect the slipping of one of the wheels, it will immediately slow down. At the same time, the speed of blocking and subsequent unlocking of the wheel is many times greater than the ability of even a very experienced driver. It is noteworthy that "Trakshn+" put FIAT 500L Trekking already in the "base".

As a power plant in the Ukrainian market for the FIAT 500L, a 1.3-liter MultiJet diesel engine is provided. The engine turbine has a variable geometry, due to which the maximum power of the unit is 85 hp. The peak torque of the motor is 200 Nm.

According to the manufacturer, in the urban cycle, the engine is ready to consume 5 liters of fuel per hundred kilometers.

It is noteworthy that the MultiJet can work both with a five-speed “mechanics” and with a five-speed Dualogic dual-clutch robotic gearbox.

Inside the FIAT 500L Trekking, which plays on the feelings of buyers in several segments at once (microvans and urban crossovers), it will delight you with a large number of various pockets, shelves for small things, and wide possibilities for transforming the interior.
