FIAT 500 C Abarth - The premiere of the open modification of the Abarth 500 took place in March 2010 at the Geneva Motor Show. Nevertheless, the first official deliveries of the car to Ukraine started only in the summer of 2012.

The appearance of the "roof blowing" hatchback almost completely repeats the version with a closed body: aggressive bumpers, wide skirts and large 16-inch wheels on low-profile rubber.

The interior decoration also professes the sporty style of the “charged” five hundredth - a three-spoke steering wheel beveled at the base, seats with developed lateral support, and in the modification with “mechanics”, the picture is also complemented by a chrome-plated gearbox knob.

Versions with an automated transmission are deprived of the last decor, since the change of “robot” modes is carried out using buttons that have taken the place of the traditional gearshift lever. But in the case of an automated box, the hatchback gets paddle shifters.

FIAT 500 C Abarth has a lowered rigid suspension and is also equipped with advanced electronic assistants. It is noteworthy that not all of them monitor only security. Some, on the contrary, are designed to provide even more driving pleasure.

Like the larger ones Ford Fiesta ST And Volkswagen Polo GTI, "Abat" can simulate a differential lock (Torque Transfer Control system). Under the strict supervision of the stabilization system, it allows you to take turns at a higher speed. This is ensured by braking the inner wheels when cornering. In other words, the electronics give the driver the feeling that the 500C is literally "screwed" into turns.

The range of engines consists of two modifications of the petrol turbocharged "four" with a volume of 1.4 liters:

• 135 HP (or 140 horses with a "robot") and 206 Nm - for the Abarth 500 C version;

• 160 HP and 230 Nm for Abarth 595 C.
