FIAT Punto 2012 - front-wheel drive five-seater B-class hatchback. The popularity of the model in Ukraine was ensured by a successful combination of stylish appearance and low cost compared to competitors. It is delivered to our market exclusively in a five-door body.
"Punto" sample 2012 was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2011. From pre-styling Punto The model is distinguished by modified bumpers: in the front one above the sections of foglights there are repeaters of turns, the separator of the air intake and radiator grille is now painted in body color, and the shape of the additional edging of the number plate has changed at the rear bumper.
Internal metamorphoses have not fundamentally changed anything: the architecture of the front panel has remained the same. Alterations of the interior were limited only to new finishing materials.
The car received not only a changed appearance, but also new power units: a gasoline engine with a volume of only 875 cubic centimeters and an upgraded 1.3-liter turbodiesel. Behind the modest size and two cylinders of the 0.9 TwinAir Turbo gasoline engine, 85 horses and 145 Nm of torque are hidden, which is already fully available at 2,000 rpm.
Diesel sixteen-valve "four" 1.3 MultiJet with variable turbine geometry develops the same power (85 hp), but the peak torque of 200 Nm is available here earlier - at 1,500 rpm. The range of power plants for the European market consists of 10 engines. Nevertheless, the list of engines for Ukraine so far includes only two units:
gasoline four-cylinder “eight-valve” with a volume of 1.4 liters (77 hp, 115 Nm);
1.3-liter diesel MultiJet with fixed geometry turbine (75 hp, 190 Nm).
Both engines are aggregated by default with “mechanics” in five gears. For a gasoline engine, as an alternative, you can choose an automated box - a five-speed "robot" Dualogic.
The car is available in several trim levels, which differ not only in the list of equipment, but also in interior decoration. For example, if we compare the Pop version, which is available in Ukraine, and the most expensive Lounge version, which is not supplied to our market, it turns out that the architecture of the center console in cars is different. In addition, the materials of the front panel and the fabric of the seat upholstery are different for models.
